WLW Marketplace
Q: What is the Marketplace for?
A: The Marketplace is a vibrant full color market that allows the shopper a fun way to make their organic produce orders.
Q: Can anyone order in the Marketplace?
A: Yes, but they must first be a fully registered paid member of WLW.
Q: When do I pay for my order?
A: Orders are paid for upon pick up.
Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: You may pay using a credit or debit card, or by check only.
Q: Once I put my items in my cart does it give me a total?
A: Yes, please read the "how to place a produce order" before placing your first order.
Q: What are case portions?
A: Full Case, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, each
Q: How does buying in case portions differ from supermarket shopping?
A: Usually at the store most everything is sold by the pound or unit. Since we have to order in full cases, we allow our members to pre order fractions of cases. Although some items such as hard squash, just have to be sold by the pound. We also sell some items as each, such as pineapple.
Q: Where do I find the AK Grown organic produce?
A: Click on the AKGROWN Logo, in the Marketplace.
Q: Is all of the produce found in the Marketplace USDA Certified organic?
A: Everything coming from OGC is OG unless otherwise noted = Non OG. Some of the Alaskan farms are indeed abiding by a strict organic way of farming, although they may not have the spendy sticker tag to go along with it.
Q: What fees are involved with the produce buying?
A: Shipping is currently .30 per pound & we charge a minimum mark up from wholesale, both which are included into the price that is shown in the Marketplace.
Q: How many items can I choose each order?
A: The possibilities are limitless. We have over 300+ organic produce items to choose from each month. WLW members may buy what they want in portions that their families will consume.
